Martin Chaplin

Chair of The Young Entrepreneurs Collaborative, Atlanta Black Chambers

Martin serves as the Chair of The Young Entrepreneurs Collaborative of the Atlanta Black Chambers.  He is also the Martin Chaplin is the founder and C.E.O of ImaginED Georgia, space for educators to catalyze equitable solutions within Georgia’s Education Ecosystem.

Martin is a native of Savannah, Georgia, and an Alumnus of the Unsinkable Albany State University. While attending The South Georgia HBCU, Mr.Chaplin received a B.S. in Middle Grades Science Education and accepted a position as an 8th grade Science Teacher in Atlanta, Georgia.

After moving to Atlanta In 2014, Martin took full advantage of the resources and opportunity the city is known for. Since being there, Martin has co-founded three thriving tech-related businesses. Martin’s passion for STEM led him to be a fellow in the National Science Foundation’s CISTAR Program at Purdue University, to be a site director for the National Society for Black Engineers’ Summer Experience for Kids Program (SEEK) and among other things, a recipient of the Explore Learning Gizmos Edtech leadership award. Because of Martin’s inner-city upbringing and experiences, at heart, he is a driven social entrepreneur and educator.

His drive pushed him to also create S.Q.U.A.D inc, a STEM career and character development program for Black boys. Along with his Civic endeavors, Martin oversees strategic operations for Zelos Automation, his email marketing automation company.
