Diana Campbell is Senior Partner and Associate Broker at Dudley Thomas Spade Specialized Real Estate, a full service commercial real estate firm based in Atlanta. 

She is licensed in Georgia and Pennsylvania. Her clients have spanned from iconic Starbucks in Philadelphia to owner-users of warehouse space in Atlanta. While Ms. Campbell’s body of work has been broad, it coalesces in two areas. She specializes in office/industrial assets in South Metro Atlanta and has a robust body of work with public institutions. She represents county school boards, developers who build offices for the state of Georgia and other governmental and government related institutions.

Ms. Campbell is a Certified Commercial Investment member (CCIM) designee and member of the national CCIM institute. Locally she serves as a board member in the GA CCIM chapter and chair of its university outreach and scholarship committee. She is also a leader within the Atlanta Black Chambers, serving as Chair of the Transportation and Logistics Committee. Ms. Campbell holds a B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from Spelman College and Rutgers University respectively.

What is her role within the Atlanta Black Chambers, and what led her to become involved in this organization?
She is in the leadership team as the inaugural chair of the Transportation and Logistics Committee. She joined ABC at the top of the pandemic. She wanted to some outlets for networking during the lock down!

How does her mission align with the Atlanta Black Chambers works to support Black-owned businesses in the Atlanta area?
She is a commercial real estate broker with a specialization in industrial real estate. She helps her clients buy, sell and lease WAREHOUSES. She came to commercial real estate because she wanted to see more commercial activity and employment opportunity in the black community. Hence, her personal mission is Connect Property with Purpose!

What are some of the key challenges facing Black-owned businesses in the current economic and social climate, and as an exemplary leader of the Atlanta Black Chambers, how she addresses these challenges?
As an industrial real estate specialist, she engages professionals in transportation and logistics sector. The industrial real estate market is very strong, prices have escalated quickly and to historic highs. The challenge is small business competing with large ones for space. She addresses this by educating clients, ensuring they are ready for transactions. ABC has a certification initiative that can help. Sharing best practices around business development is also paramount and the work of TLC programming.

Her goal is to continue to contribute to TLC and establish the infrastructure and tools that allow this committee to sustain, grow and thrive well beyond my time leading it.
